The scientific research portal aims to provide a collaborative workspace for Mauritanian researchers in the diaspora and at the national level.

It is part of the implementation of the national strategy for scientific research and innovation which recommends the creation of a Mauritanian research space.

The portal’s aims include:

• Encouraging collaboration between researchers home and abroad to stimulate research and ensure a transfer of skills.
• Establishing reliable statistics on the number of researchers, doctoral students abroad and their areas of expertise
• • Improve the visibility of the country’s scientific productions
• Facilitate researchers’ access to data and documentary resources
• Facilitate and stimulate exchange between economic and financial players and researchers
